What you can expect from this site, what we do not promise, and the rules for using what we publish.

What this site is
The Tender Brief publishes independent analysis of public procurement. It is information, not advice. Nothing here is legal, financial or professional advice, and reading it does not create a professional relationship between us.
Procurement rules change, and portals change how they apply them. We date every figure and name its source so you can check whether it still holds. Where something is unverified, we say so rather than smoothing over it — but the responsibility for decisions you take remains yours.
Analysis is assistance, not assurance
The RFP analyser reads tender documents and reports what it finds, with a page reference for each finding. It is a reading aid. It can misread a document, miss an attachment that was not linked, or be given an incomplete set of files.
Always verify against the tender document itself before you bid. Every finding cites its source page precisely so that checking is quick. We are not liable for a bid that is rejected, mispriced or missed because a report was relied on in place of the original documents.
Consultations
Consultation work is agreed separately. Scope, fee and timing are confirmed in writing before work starts, and nothing is charged when you submit the enquiry form.
- We advise on eligibility, documentation and bid strategy. We do not submit bids on your behalf unless that is separately agreed in writing.
- We cannot guarantee that you will win a tender, and we do not represent that we have influence with any buyer.
- What we can reliably do is identify the documentation and eligibility failures that eliminate most bidders before price is compared.
Using what we publish
The articles, research, tools and design on this site belong to The Tender Brief. You are welcome to read them, quote briefly from them with a link back, and share them.
You may not republish them wholesale, scrape the site in bulk, or use the content to train a model or build a competing dataset without our written permission.
Tender documents you upload remain yours. We claim no rights over them and, as the privacy policy sets out, we do not keep them.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to:
- upload documents you have no right to share
- attempt to overwhelm, probe or break the service
- resell access to the analyser or present its reports as your own product
We may withdraw access where any of these happen. The analyser is rate limited, and heavy automated use will be blocked.
Availability
We aim to keep the site up but do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change or be withdrawn — where a paid feature changes materially, we will tell you first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost contracts, lost profit or lost opportunity, arising from use of this site or its tools.
Where we are liable for paid work, our liability is limited to the fee you paid for that work. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
