How it reads a tender
Figures are extracted, not inferred
Turnover thresholds, EMD, closing dates and passing marks are read out of the document's own structure by fixed rules. No model is involved in producing a number, because a model that misreads ₹48 lakh as ₹48 crore will do it fluently and cost you a contract.
Judgement is separated from fact
The written analysis receives the extracted figures as settled and reasons about them. It ranks requirements, reads the payment cycle for what it means to your cash position, and finds the deduction clauses. It is not permitted to introduce a number of its own.
Everything cites its source
Each figure carries the page and the exact text it was read from, and each finding carries a verbatim quote. You can check the whole report against the tender in the time it takes to scroll it.
It follows the bid's own links
A GeM bid page is a cover sheet. The scope of work, the buyer's added terms and the price format are separate files linked from it, and that is where the decisive requirements live — in the tender this was built against, the linked ATC sets a similar-work threshold of ₹1.27 crore that the bid page never mentions. Those files are downloaded and read as part of the analysis, and anything that could not be fetched is named rather than analysed around.
What it will not do
Stated now rather than discovered later.
- It reads what the document says. It cannot tell you what a buyer privately prefers, or who the incumbent is.
- It follows links to gem.gov.in and nowhere else. Attachments hosted anywhere but GeM are named and left unread, on purpose.
- GeM sometimes withdraws attachments once a bid closes. When a linked file will not download, the report says which one — download it yourself and add it as a supporting document.
- It reads text-based PDFs. A scanned tender comes back as an error rather than a confident, empty report — optical character recognition is not built yet.
- It does not replace reading the tender. It makes sure you read the parts that decide the outcome.
Beyond the document
The report tells you what the tender says. A review tells you whether to bid.
Pricing against the estimated value, reading the incumbent's position, deciding whether the technical marks are reachable — that is judgement about your business, not about the document. Bring the report to a bid review and we work through it together.
